For more compression, please see my recommendation below. There isn’t a huge amount of compression, so I would only use this as your main bra if your surgeon feels you don’t need a lot. It was comfortable to wear, even at night. This was my favourite out of all the bras I ordered from Amazon.

  • Medium compression (also depends on your breast size).
  • Band comes down longer, but still gets uncomfortable on incisions.
  • It was uncomfortable after a while, but I was more worried about revealing my new self during recovery, and didn’t want to feel self-conscious. I wore it a couple of times when I went out to socialize a few weeks after surgery. This one does feel a little uncomfortable on the incisions after wearing it for a bit, so I’d recommend using a pad under the band. There is some compression, and if you’re looking for an inexpensive back-up for when your better bra is in the wash, this could work. The feel of it was more comfortable than the Bang Bang, and the contoured cup gave a nice shape in clothes. I was surprised to see that this one was almost identical to the Bang Bang bra.
  • Check out the Inibud bra instead (see review below).
  • Toggle is hard to straighten, so it’s hard to move the zipper up and down.
  • A better alternative is the Inibud bra reviewed below, which is similar to this one, but better. I couldn’t wait to get it off and never wore it again. When I wore it for several hours it really hurt my boobs and made them ache. Since it is a zipper close, you also can’t adjust it to fit better.

The zipper toggle is hard to keep in place (it goes all wonky and off to the side), making it really hard to get to the point where you can zip it. Some women raved about how comfortable it was, but I thought it was very basic and really uncomfortable. I saw this bra mentioned a lot in the BII Facebook support groups. When it arrived I found out it didn’t have the same feel at all unfortunately.

I bought this one because it looked exactly like the Sunland bra above, and came in a size small. If it came in a small I probably would have kept it as a spare. There are zipper-stops (material that keeps zipper in place) so that it doesn’t come undone. This would also be a good option for when you need molded cups if you are going out and want more shape. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it as your main bra because of its lack of adjustability or compression. If you would normally fit a medium I think this could be a decent spare bra for you. It didn’t come in a small, so I couldn’t size it down either. When I tried it on after surgery it was too loose which was disappointing, since it had felt soft and comfortable when I tried it on at my larger size.

I tried it on before surgery when I was still a DD and it fit really comfortably, so I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to fit after surgery. I bought a medium, based on the sizing chart and reviewer’s recommendations.
